We got chicks this past Saturday.  They are chirping like crazy right now.  We have 8 and I am getting one more from a friend next week.  That should provide about 5-6 eggs a DAY.  Yeah.  Pretty freaking excited about it! 

Ezra is a huge help with them and I love the teaching aspect of it all.  He has been trying to come up with names for them but I haven't even tried yet.  I figure the names will just come to us as we get to know them.  Plus, thinking of 9 names all at once is a little intimidating.  So far I've kind of named one:  Boss Lady.
